Sabbath School
Philosophy
The Sabbath School department of the South American Division was established with the purpose of being the main vehicle of religious instruction in the Church. It exists to teach and proclaim to all people the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in the context of the message of the three angels of Revelation 14: 6-12, in response to the Master's command to go and preach. To honor this original purpose, the department continues to communicate the good news in order to earn, retain, recover and train Jesus, men, women, youth and children across South America.
“The Sabbath School is an important branch of missionary work, not only because it provides young people and adults with the knowledge of the Word of God, but because it awakens in them a love for its sacred truths and the desire to study them for themselves; above all, teach them to regulate their lives by their holy teachings ”(Counsels on Sabbath School, p. 10, 11)
Mission
The Sabbath School's Mission is to be a system of religious instruction, discipleship and spiritual growth for the local Church. It is also part of the Sabbath School Mission to make disciples by strengthening worship, faith, fraternity, generosity and missionary action.

The philosophy and mission of the Sabbath School department are achieved thanks to the following purposes:
- Promote systematic and regular study of the Bible,
